All About the Accent Walls

And some of our favorites over the years.

As we are rolling into the fall (already), we want to feature one of the most popular projects our customers have done with reclaimed barn wood- accent walls.

Every year, without fail, so many of our customers are looking for wood for an accent wall they are installing (or want installed) in their home. We absolutely love it. There are some people who go for just the accent wall and others prefer to utilize reclaimed barn wood as the entire wall covering for a room. So we have seen finished products ranging from a farmhouse-chic accent wall in a living room, den, or kitchen to a cabin-style home with reclaimed barn wood finishing every wall. Whichever way you lean, reclaimed barn wood walls can add a pop of color, a splash of rustic… Whatever you are looking for in a room (which is one of the reasons why we love ‘em so much).

We have had folks who have a specific vision for their accent wall. One example is White Buffalo Yoga Studio. The accent walls they designed and installed using our reclaimed barn wood are gorgeous! They opted for a lovely pattern (pictured above) which adds such a nice vibe to their studio space.

It’s not just our customers that love accent walls. We love them, too. They are fun to put together (not always quite as fun to install, but the final product makes it 100% worth it). We have even installed reclaimed barn wood paneling in our shop (and garage).

One thing we have noticed over the years is that adding a reclaimed barn wood accent wall can completely transform a room.
